Sharks pre season has begun and we went and saw Glen Campbell at Chukchansi Resort. On the way home we birded Merced National Wildlife Refuge. Retirement has begun!

The day has finally arrived! The cameras and clothes are packed. Dave & I are ready to board an Air France plane and return to South Africa. I promise to post regularly when we return.
Dave and I confirmed our travel plans with Oran & Gloria this weekend. So excited to be able to see all of the projects they have been working on for two years. I am also looking forward to time in the bush, specifically at Vuyatela Safari Lodge in Sabi Sands.
Dave and I will be returning to South Africa in September. I am jumping for joy! We will be spending time with good friends Oran & Gloria who have spent the past two years in Nelspruit. Lions…. here I come.
