I attended an OUTSTANDING Canon Speedlight photography class at the Light Photography Institute in Los Osos, CA. Many thanks to owner/instructor Hal Schmitt for 2 information packed days. I came home and the beautiful amaryllis that John and Nancy Kutilek sent us for Christmas was in spectacular bloom. Utilizing my new flash skill set, I set up a studio shot… here’s the result.
